Purpose is the goal of life!

I remember the encouragement I heard from Priscilla Shirer as I was watching one of her videos when she said what ever the enemy tries so hard to discourage you from doing, that’s what you need to do. Press toward it, past fear, past people, past doubt and go for it. She was not talking about any ole thing that you’ve been afraid to do but what has been given to you by God to do. God will confirm what you are to be doing and not to be doing.

Last weekend was a big one for me. I have been aware of my purpose for awhile and I remember having a friend ask me “what are you waiting for? Don’t wait for other people but fly on your own. When birds are born they don’t have to be taught to fly, they are already equipped to do it.”  And it is so true. What God has called you to do, He has already made sure to equip you on how to do it. Be patient and sit under Godly wisdom and leadership and be willing to soak up God’s training and to be corrected.  With His purpose comes great responsibility and we must be ready when it’s time to step out so patience is EVERYTHING. For years that is what I have been doing and will continue to do.

I remember writing down visions for SHE Abundantly and one of them was a tour geared towards young women on the topic of sex. And by a leap of faith, with my knees knocking, I decided to begin to walk that vision out. I had SA’s very first one. God is faithful to His investments is us and He will surely keep His word.

Be encouraged by this: a young girl shy and quiet, would cry, kick & scream if I even thought about speaking in front of people, don’t like to be in the spot light for anything ( I still don’t lol) yet grew and is still growing to overcome every fear and obstacle that the enemy has placed in front of me to try and keep me from being a young woman of purpose.  Oh yeah, I debuted SA’s FIRST shirt as well ( will be available for purchase soon, see Home page).
